Beyond the thrill of competition, sports play a vital role in community development, promotion of social cohesion and nurturing a sense of belonging. By supporting the One Goal campaign, you will help the proposed facility not only serve as a hub for sports but also a premier event destination. Hosting leagues, tournaments, expos, youth classes and other events, it will attract sports enthusiasts and visitors from Northeast Wisconsin and beyond. The state-of-the-art amenities will position this space for regional collaboration, contributing to the economic vibrancy of the entire area. The potential to attract participants from distant areas positions Lawrence as a statewide sports destination

WITH YOU, MORE WILL PLAY

As a Nonprofit organization, the Sports Emporium’s primary focus is on the well-being and development of our participants. This mission-driven approach allows the Sports Emporium to allocate resources effectively toward programming, financial support, and outreach initiatives, ensuring accessibility for all members of our community—creating a space where individuals feel valued and supported.

  • JOIN US TO BUILD UNITY THROUGH SPORTS

Athletics serve as a universal language, breaking down barriers, and promoting unity among diverse communities across Northeast Wisconsin. Athletics provide a common ground where individuals of all backgrounds come together. By sharing a space and a passion for sports, it creates a connection that extends beyond words. With three indoor turf fields, pickleball courts, and a multipurpose room, the Community Recreation Center provides opportunities for families, youth, and adults to participate in sports, events, and recreational activities 365 days a year. This builds camaraderie across demographics, encourages healthy lifestyles, and enhances the overall quality of life for residents.

  • TOGETHER WE’LL PROMOTE HEALTH AND WELLBEING

In addition to athletics, this facility provides opportunities for socialization creating less isolation among our youth, adults, and care takers in our community. The facility engages with at-risk groups, offering opportunities to channel their energy positively and learn valuable life skills such as discipline and sportsmanship. The Sports Emporium also offers Todder Play, a time for new parents to connect and create community with others in the same stage of life. The new Community Recreation Center will allow more room, availability, and programming to help support those who need a safe, fun and comfortable space to come.
